MIMARU TOKYO KINSHICHO

Mimaru Tokyo Kinshicho is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which makes everything very accessible.The staff are incredibly helpful—they even helped us locate our luggage that we accidentally left at Shinagawa Station. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and communication in English was easy.Highly recommended!

My daughter love the bunk bed setting so much- staff was friendly and thoughtful. Our incoming and left behind luggage were already in the room when we checked in the 2nd time.- both heater n aircon all in one helps.

Price can be expensive. Understand it could be the festive season.

We had never been to this area of Tokyo. Usually stay closer to family but have zero complaints about the location. If you want tokyo on a smaller scale then this is it. Its an older area so the generation gap can be noticeable if you have spent a lot of time in the area. The location is so good! Originally we were planning to go closer into the heart of the city to shop but ended up finding everything we needed in the area. Convenience stores surrounding the hotel provide quick eats and drink. There are several chain eateries a block away. The room was great too! Plenty of space, kitchen if you need it, and a balcony. We are thinking to check out other mimaru locations for next time. Great view nearby of skytree.

Beds were a bit on the hard side and we always buy firm for personal use. TV had no streaming capabilities like most hotels do and you can't see the screen from the beds. Also the beds platform and mattresses slide too easily.

Location is very convenient. It is nice to do last minute sightseeing / shopping at the arcakit, 0101, olinas, parco, seibu and donQ.Staff were very thoughtful and effective. The luggages that i intentionally left at the hotel, and those sent from other locations were already in the room when we checked in. My daughter loved the bunk bed.

Our family of five (2 adults and 3 kids 12, 9, 4) absolutely loved our stay at Mimaru Tokyo Kinshicho! The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for families. It's really clean and the staff taking good of care every single day. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The location was great, close to shops especially next to Lawson such an easy trip go to convenience store, restaurants, and the train station. We especially appreciated the little touches that made traveling with kids so much easier. This is one of the best family accommodations we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tokyo!

The beds were not so comfy and we stayed for 7 nights.

We had a great stay at MIMARU Tokyo Kinshicho. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in and any questions a breeze. The room was very comfortable — the bed was a little firm for my taste, but still fine. Loved that the apartment was fully stocked with everything we’d need to cook, though we didn’t use the kitchen this time. Not much of a view, but the beautiful shade and excellent blackout curtains made up for it. Very clean, quiet, and a nice home base in Tokyo.

The staff were friendly, engaging with the kids and spoke English (unexpected but helpful) and the room was spacious for 5 and clean. The location wasn't near the attractions we chose but the train was conveniently located within walking distance.

The room was so noisy, constant sirens and street noise (not the fault of the hotel) but the sound seemed to filter in through the air vent and even sleeping with the aircon on didn't drown out the noise. No one woke refreshed and really needs sound proofing looked into. We were warned about the beds being hard (stayed at another chain hotel and it was luxury in comparison) but certainly not made for adults. For the price I feel we could have found a better fit for us.

We loved the space in the room for all 5 of us. The property was clean and the location was close to malls and the train station.

If you walk to a certain street there are clubs and bars so it may be loud at night or early in the morning

Family friendly. Walking distance to train station. Easily accessible to other area of Tokyo. Good for family with baby. Because you can find a few big baby stores nearby.

The staff was very friendly and helped us every step of the way to make sure we were comfortable and had new towels everyday and the trash was taken out. The location has at least 3 convenience stores nearby and some were open 24 hours. Very close to the station made it easy to get to other parts of the city fairly easily.

There are laundry machines on the ground floor which is nice when you are staying awhile. The dryer seems like it was designed for very small loads so it can take a while to dry everything if you have a lot of laundry. Luckily, it was not an issue overall.

We had a great stay at MIMARU Tokyo Kinshicho. While it’s a bit outside central areas like Shibuya or Ginza, the quieter, local vibe was a nice change from busy tourist spots. It’s still convenient, with the train station, supermarkets, and department stores close by.Our room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a large fridge and cooking station — ideal for families. The bed was comfy, and the separate toilet and bath setup was very convenient.Staff were friendly and spoke English well, making everything easy. A solid choice if you want space, comfort, and a more local Tokyo feel.

The area does have quite a few bars and nightclubs, which might feel a bit awkward when walking with kids at night, but it didn’t affect our stay.The sliding doors between bedrooms don’t offer full privacy, but they’re functional.
